Welcome to the Chief Procurement Office for General Services
Each year, State agencies conduct thousands of procurements to obtain the items they require to fulfill their missions. These procurements award billions of dollars to vendors. The Chief Procurement Officer for General Services and her State Purchasing Officers promote public trust by ensuring that all procurements are conducted lawfully and ethically.

Small Business Specialist Brianna Lopez and Senior Policy Advisor Andrew Hennig participated in the APEX Accelerator 2nd Annual Contracting Summit in Forest Park on March 11 and 12. For nearly 40 years the Illinois APEX Accelerator (formerly known as PTAC) professionals have been providing businesses – including small, disadvantaged and women-owned firms – the guidance they need to sell their goods and services to local, state, and federal government agencies.
